About FindMine
FindMine is a New York-based retail AI platform that helps brands like Ann Taylor, Loft, Anine Bing, Lululemon and DXL scale on-brand styling, outfitting, and “complete-the-look” content across e-commerce, email, in-store associate tools, and paid media. Backed by a Series A from Grayhawk Ventures and selected for LVMH's La Maison de Startups, FindMine sells into a sophisticated enterprise retail buyer — and runs an equally sophisticated, highly customized sales motion to do it.
The challenge
FindMine's revenue stack was a standard off-the-shelf HubSpot setup — CRM and marketing combined — that the team had moved to after Salesforce. Lead scoring ran automatically through HubSpot. Qualification was done manually by SDRs. Forecasting and pipeline reviews were a weekly ritual of CRM pulls, manager gut checks, and AE conversations stitched together by hand.
It worked, in the sense that it didn't fall over. But it wasn't built for the motion FindMine was running. Their enterprise retail sales process was highly customized, and the off-the-shelf HubSpot setup couldn't model it natively — so the gap got filled by people. SDRs handled qualification by hand. Managers reconciled forecasts by gut check. FindMine's leaders, still actively selling while running the business, ended up doing daily data entry just to keep deal records current.
“AEs will always be on a sliding scale of what they're willing to do operationally to maintain a CRM.”
Lance Goler — VP Sales, FindMine
The result was the same problem most B2B SaaS teams hit eventually: the data underneath every forecast, every pipeline review, every board conversation was only as good as whatever rep had remembered to update that morning.
The turning point
The mismatch was real enough that FindMine's CTO had started scoping a custom build. The plan was to knock off the best parts of HubSpot, strip the rest, and ship something purpose-built for their retail B2B motion. If the off-the-shelf option couldn't model their sales process, they'd build one that did.
Then they looked at Dreamhub.
“Dreamhub made the buy scenario much more attractive. We had bigger fish to fry in our core product.”
Lance Goler — VP Sales, FindMine
Dreamhub was already built for B2B software revenue teams and could be tuned to FindMine's specific qualification and stage model out of the box. For a company whose engineering org should be focused on AI styling for retail — not on building yet another CRM in-house — that was the deciding argument. The math on building a custom system stopped making sense the moment a system already existed that understood the kind of motion they were running.
The switch
This is the part that mattered most to FindMine: switching couldn't be the thing that derailed a quarter.
It wasn't. Dreamhub's AI agents handled the migration on the timeline the team had committed to — and finished ahead of it. Call recordings ported over at migration, not after. FindMine's lift on their side was small and contained.
“The level of effort on our part was shipping a bunch of data and one round of cleanup.”
Lance Goler — VP Sales, FindMine
For a sales team that didn't have spare cycles to absorb a six-month implementation, that mattered as much as anything Dreamhub does post-go-live.
How FindMine uses Dreamhub
The day-to-day change is concentrated in four places.
Data entry stopped being a job. Every call, email, and meeting is captured automatically and used to populate qualification fields, deal records, and stage progression. Lance's framing of why this works is the one to internalize: “If the data isn't there, it isn't because it wasn't entered — it's because it doesn't exist.” The system stopped depending on rep discipline, which means it stopped silently failing.
Qualification is more rigorous, not less. FindMine's qualification process is customized to their enterprise retail ICP, and stage definitions are tighter than they were before. Because Dreamhub enforces them — rather than relying on AEs to remember which fields go with which stage — pipeline visibility increased significantly.
Rep adoption took care of itself. The pitch to the team was easy: do less, get more accuracy. Every call and email AEs were already having now updates the system automatically — and the friction that usually kills a CRM rollout never showed up.
Dreamer turned RevOps into a conversation. FindMine's team uses Dreamer, Dreamhub's AI coach and analyst, to run bespoke data queries on demand — the kind of question that used to require a RevOps person, a spreadsheet, and an hour. Now it's a chat. Lance puts Dreamer and automated data entry together when he explains why returning to the old setup isn't on the table: “It's impossible to ever consider going back to what we had previously.”
The results
The numbers Lance shared all close the loop on the original pain.
Twenty hours a week of selling time came back to the team — time that had been spent on CRM upkeep. Tooling consolidated: HubSpot and Fireflies were offboarded, and the resulting $25K was redirected to marketing and other growth investments. What used to live across multiple systems now lives in one.
But the result Lance points to first isn't on the dashboard. It's what happens when he walks into a quarterly board meeting — or his one-on-one with the CEO — with a forecast he actually trusts. The data underneath it is current. The qualification underneath it is rigorous. The system enforcing both is the same system that produced the numbers.
That's the difference between a CRM as a filing cabinet and a CRM as the source of truth.
“It has literally replaced 3 platforms. The ROI is 100x worth it.”
Lance Goler — VP Sales, FindMine
What Lance would tell another VP of Sales
He volunteered this one without prompting: the downside risk is minimal. Dreamhub knows B2B use cases, the system improves daily, and the team will run a side-by-side comparison against your current stack before you commit. “I'd be shocked if it didn't prove to be more efficient, more reliable, and more cost effective.”
